Hello and welcome! I am a Brooklyn-based oil painter exploring the importance of ancestral memory, the divine feminine, and at times spirituality in our relationship to land, animals, and nature. Compelled by the loss of my family’s farm in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and my experience as the last generation to steward the land, my work investigates the ties between past and present and how our connection to the natural world reflects our true selves. My work is a visual representation of our ability to emotionally connect with beings that are not human and seeks to remind viewers of their own unique and cultural relationship with land.
