Collect a truly one-of-a-kind gift! These Heirloom ornaments are all slow-crafted in my studio in Brooklyn.
They are 2.5" original oil paintings. Wood cutouts are primed with an oil ground, and then three layers of oil paint are applied, each layer taking up to a week to dry. The result is an impasto effect, where the final layer of oil paint is raised and creates texture. Finally, the ornaments are varnished for a glossy coat that protects the ornament for hundreds of years, and finished with a red ribbon to hang.
Ornaments are titled and signed on the back, and come in a collector's box which is also titled and signed, making this a truly unique gift for the person who "has it all."
